Paris Optical is one of the few sole distributors of TVR in Malaysia, a brand specialising in authentic vintage eyewear handmade in Japan.

The TVR edit
TVR frames are made using traditional hand tools passed between master craftspeople, and are described as museum-worthy pieces of eyewear history. The collection emphasises classic design elements: keyhole bridges, functional spear rivets, 7-barrel hinges and miter-cut techniques. Each frame is individually crafted by selected artisans from Sabae, combining decades of expertise in the eyewear tradition.
Vintage design, present-day craftsmanship
TVR, short for True Vintage Revival, reproduces design details from the golden age of Japanese eyewear making, built by artisans in Sabae, Japan’s historic eyewear-manufacturing region. Each pair is finished by hand rather than mass-produced, so small variations in the acetate and metalwork are part of the character, not a flaw.
